Weather protection and stability without compromise Safe refuge in the harsh wilderness: the Ceres IV Extreme from Exped! Whether for camping, basecamp, bike tour or expedition, this extremely stable, spacious and comfortable tunnel tent is the right choice when the weather is at its worst and your needs are at their most demanding. This is made possible by a sophisticated mix of materials and a highly efficient construction that can withstand even the most demanding tours. While the outer and inner tents are made from fine, lightweight yet very strong ripstop nylon, the groundsheet is made from coarser Taffeta nylon for reliable protection against moisture, dirt and abrasion. Sophisticated design and comfortable details The tunnel construction of the Ceres tent provides a high inner area with relatively steep sidewalls, making living in the tent very comfortable in terms of weight and pack size. The two vestibules, which offer sufficient protected storage space and a very large entrance area, also contribute to this. The latter is accessible from two sides, so there is always a weather-protected entrance side available. In heavy, prolonged rain, the rain gutter above the side entrance provides relief, and in good weather, both vestibules can be rolled up for a clear view outside. The tried and tested DAC-Featherlite frame offers an ideal level of lightness and robustness. The four pole arches can withstand wind and storm and can be quickly retracted or dismantled. EXPED designed centre marker for intuitive folding also helps with quick assembly and disassembly. The features at a glance: Highly functional and reliable materials Good ratio of weight and pack size to available space Easy assembly and extremely stable stand
