The Sierra Leone III 3-man tent is a versatile tent for trekking tours for variable terrain. Thanks to its self-supporting construction, the tent is sturdy without guy lines. But, if the winds pick up at night, you can use the extended guy line webbing for increased stability. These are looped around the parts where the poles intersect. The robust floor of the inner tent has a polyurethane coating, which gives it its hydrostatic head of 5,000mm. On rainy days, the outer tent will keep the inner dry. With a hydrostatic head of 3,000mm, it will provide enough protection in most conditions. What's more, there is a rain guidance over the entrance that guides rain off at the sides to prevent water getting in to the tent when exiting. The roomy vestibule in the front will provide plenty of room for 3 people's gear. If you need more room for cooking, you can use the interior buckles to extend the vestibule. The side of roof is equipped with ventilation openings for a fresh supply of air in the tent. In addition, a matching footprint is available for this tent as well. In terms of pack size and weight, the tent can be divided up well among three people.
