The Salewa Leone II 2-man tent is the perfect shelter on trekking tours in somewhat higher altitudes. This geodesic outer tent is really easy to pitch and can stand without guy lines. But, on windy nights, the guy lines will give you more stability. The extended guy line webbing transfers force to the pole construction for increased durability and stability. The pegs that are included with the tent will anchor it to the ground, even in cold conditions. Thanks to the polyurethane coating on the floor, the material has a hydrostatic head of 5,000mm. Plus, the outer tent has a hydrostatic head of 3,000mm, so it, too, will provide reliable protection against rain. What's more, the tent has rain guidance at the entrance to prevent water getting in when opening the tent. The roomy vestibule in the front will provide plenty of room for 2 people's gear. But, if you need more room, interior buckles allow you to extend the vestibule by make the inner tent smaller. There are also door opening options for different weather conditions.
