The Pìcol Child Carrier from Salewa is made from high-strength 210-denier nylon and features a durable yet lightweight aluminium frame for reliable carrying and handling. The easily adjustable Dry Back Custom carry system features a height-adjustable back panel, anatomically moulded and padded shoulder straps, and an individually adjustable hip belt. The extra-padded lumbar support ensures the necessary carrying comfort on longer outings. In addition, the load-control straps ensure an optimal fit of the child carrier against your back, while the shaped hip fins provide a secure fit and ideal load transfer to the hips. The Pìcol stands out with high-quality features for children as well as for the load carriers - the parents. The child carrier comes with rain and sun protection with UPF 50, a child seat with breathable mesh inserts and removable, washable fabric padding. Additional equipment can easily be stored in the spacious 14-litre storage compartment and secure internal valuables pocket. Smaller items are always close at hand in the two hip belt pockets - one on each side. At the same time, the front section can be removed and used as a practical 9-litre daypack. Removing the lower compartment and detachable backpack saves even more weight when using the child carrier in its Light version. As part of the Salewa Committed collection, the child carrier features a water-repellent, PFC-free DWR finish and is manufactured according to Salewa's strict, independently verified social and environmental standards.
