Featherweight Freerider airbag backpack that offers full mobility on the descent If you’re in the market for an airbag backpack that lets you move freely whilst freeriding, then look no further than the Avabag LiTRIC Freeride 18 from Ortovox. With its body-hugging shape, it’ll fit nicely on descents in deep snow and smoothly follows your every movement. Its wide, flexible hip belt and the soft shoulder straps of the lightweight Clasp Back system are specially adapted for people with shorter backs and you’ll barely notice them. There are holders for skis and a splitboard, a rope holder and pick and pole holders. Plus, it features a circumferential zip that allows you to quickly access the main compartment. Thanks to the use of the light and abrasion-resistant fabrics, it reduces the overall weight of the backpack. Easy to use LiTRIC electronic airbag system - quickly rechargeable Even in the most difficult situations, the LiTRIC electronic airbag system can be triggered easily. It offers the greatest possible safety and can be released multiple times. The release handle’s lever can be adjusted to your liking. Thanks to the design of the handle, it won’t get triggered on accident. With the battery switched on, the runtime is about 60 hours, regardless of the temperature and weather, so you’ll have enough buffer on longer tours without having to recharge it.  A quick charge only takes about 25 minutes and is possible via a USB-C cable and a power bank. The lightweight Full Contact Light Back System of the Tour line offers comfort on long tours. Both back units are available in two different lengths each.
