These shorts are made from a particularly hard-wearing ripstop nylon fabric. It is barely damaged in minor falls or if you were to find yourself caught in thorny bushes. If the material does tear, the hole created will not grow over time. This is a huge advantage over many other conventional cycling shorts, where a small tear can quickly turn into a massive rip. In addition, the fabric is splash-proof thanks to its PFC-free DWR coating. If you get too warm in these shorts, all you have to do is open the zipped vents. By doing so, fresh air can flow into the shorts to ensure a drier climate around the buttocks and thighs. The seamless finish in the seat area prevents any uncomfortable pressure points or chafing.
