The trail running shoes keep you comfortable when descending on the trail and will propel you forwards. They have a special sandwich sole construction that incorporates a carbon plate along the entire length of the midsole, which is made up of two layers of the brand’s own Altra EGO MAX EVA (lower layer) and the Altra EGO PRO (upper layer). The top layer provides a snug, comfortable insole, while the soft, underfoot layer offers plenty of cushioning and takes the rough edges out of the trail. Meanwhile, the enclosed carbon plate provides protection by deflecting the impact of stones and propelling you forwards. Finally, a Vibram Megagrip sole offers excellent traction on wet and dry surfaces.
