Waterproof mountaineering boots for alpine adventures Any woman who likes to venture into mountainous alpine regions on their tours should take a closer look at the Women's Mangart GTX Mid from the legendary Bavarian mountaineering boot manufacturer Lowa! Firstly, these boots offer all the protection from the elements that is often needed in the mountains, because, thanks to the built-in GORE-TEX membrane, the upper material is both waterproof and windproof, yet always remains breathable. Meanwhile, the Vibram Alp Trac Numen outsole offers plenty of grip with its sharp-edged lug design, ensuring that you make good progress in alpine terrain, while the climbing zone at the toes enables precise footwork on steep rocks. The two technologies known as Close to the Ground and Close to the Rock refer to a design that aims to minimise the distance between the sole of the foot or toes and the ground or rocks in order to provide a better feel for the terrain, thereby enabling an improved, sturdier footing. Cushioning and a flexible collar for greater comfort In addition, the Women's Mangart GTX Mid have been equipped with Shock Absorber technology to soften the forces acting on the heel when walking. A heel cushion is integrated within the insole, which provides cushioning to offer a comfortable walking experience. Finally, their Flexfit design means that the collar of the boots can be slightly bent, allowing your feet to roll more naturally when walking, which saves energy and noticeably increases comfort, especially on ascents. The advantages at a glance: Mountaineering boots with a waterproof, windproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane Vibram sole tailored to alpine surfaces Special design enables a good underfoot feel for the terrain Cushioning in the heel area Flexible collar
