When precision and protection against the cold are essential - the Aurai DFS Evo GTX from AKU These mountaineering boots are designed for winter mountaineering and demanding routes on ice. They combine lightness, stability and a fit that offers full control even on vertical terrain. The Dual Fit System (DFS) allows for custom lacing for maximum sensitivity on rock and a secure grip on ice. Two separate zones enable precise adjustment of the forefoot and ankle - quick, secure and easy to use even when wearing gloves. High-quality materials for maximum performance on ice The Kevlar upper, spider frame and highly durable stretch fabric ensure cut and wear resistance. Inside, a combination of GORE-TEX Insulated membrane and Primaloft Aerogel inserts provides reliable protection against the cold and wet. The pre-moulded heel padding improves insulation and precision when climbing, while the redesigned lacing with double ankle strap distributes pressure evenly and increases comfort. A Vibram Litebase sole and a stiff carbon/aluminium insole ensure stability, grip and precise footing on ice and rock - even with crampons.
