Partly crampon-compatible mountaineering boots for alpine tours The Ferrata Tour GTX from Hanwag are alpine boots that are ideal for mixed terrain and easy alpine tours with glacier passages. Whether ice, rock or snow, you’ll be perfectly equipped with these boots. They feature a heel welt for semi-automatic crampons. Sophisticated sole technology The mountaineering boots are made of extremely durable Perwanger leather and are equipped with a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane. With the special sole technology TubeTec Rock, Hanwag has also succeeded in combining walking comfort and climbing performance in an outstanding way. The highlight of the boots are the internal TPU ribs and reinforcements that protect the polyurethane responsible for the good and durable cushioning properties. Otherwise, it would not be possible to use such a soft material in mountain boots. The Hanwag Ferrata Tour GTX are also characterised by the slightly wider Alpine Wide last.
