Item No.: 020-0191. The Nepal Extreme from La Sportiva are insulated, fully crampon-compatible mountaineering boots for the demanding terrain of the high mountains. They feature a water-repellent Idro-Perwanger leather upper with a protective rand to shield the leather from abrasion and damage. As for the interior, the boot has been fitted with a Synergy Primaloft lining, which provides the necessary insulation in cold weather. Plus, it’s both water repellent and quick-drying as well. It also boasts a great warmth-to-weight ratio and wicks away moisture efficiently to keep your feet nice and dry. To shield you from the cold from below, La Sportiva has incorporated a 9mm thick Ibi-Thermo insole. As for the outsole, the boot features a Vibram sole for superb grip and traction. It also comes equipped with an Impact Brake System for more braking power on descents and added cushioning thanks to the unique position of the lugs. The EZ-Out pull loop makes unlocking the lace lock a whole lot easier. You’ll feel right at home in the mountains with the Nepal Extreme!
