This high-quality, sturdy mountaineering shoe is fitted with a premium GORE-TEX membrane which wicks away moisture from inside the shoe, while also preventing it from getting in. This keeps your feet dry, and maintains a comfortable climate inside the shoe. The outers are reinforced with rubber, preventing wear and giving the shoe durability. The anatomically shaped shaft wraps around the foot, giving you the perfect fit.The Vibram sole, with its large cleats covering the entire surface of the sole, provides optimal traction, stability and grip on any surface. The midsole has been developed with Exoskeleton technology, which gives it robustness and lightness and protects the foot from fatigue injuries. The double worked PU also offers good cushioning with every step and therefore guarantees even more wearer comfort. Thanks to its stability, the Superalp GTX by AKU is ideal for longer tours with heavy backpacks. But it's also highly suited to hiking trails or mountain treks.
