This has a TPU stabiliser between the heel and the midfoot for support and torsional stability. In order to keep the weight to a minimum, not only did Hanwag opt for lightweight materials, but they also incorporated a special tread with 3D Prism Base technology. This changes the structure of the outsole and the rubber compound, resulting in a weight reduction of around 30%. The Tatra Light GTX hiking and trekking boot features a two-zone lacing system with Click Clamp eyelets for a secure fit and tongue lace hooks to keep the tongue in place. For protection and comfort, the boot also comes equipped with GORE-TEX. Despite the low weight, the Tatra Light GTX offers a locked-down fit as well.
