Thanks to its special construction, it can be worn either way round and adapts flexibly to different activities and temperature conditions. One side features a textured, ripple-like surface which traps additional air, thereby enhancing the insulation performance. The other side is knitted in a smooth stitch, making it particularly comfortable against the skin. This allows you to adapt the shirt to suit the weather, your activity and your personal preferences. For maximum comfort while hiking and trekking, the shoulders are reinforced with a double layer of WarmWool, which reduces pressure points caused by backpack straps. Under the arms, however, a single layer of merino wool is used, which promotes effective ventilation and optimal temperature regulation. The high-quality merino wool impresses with its natural properties: it keeps you warm in the cold, is breathable as temperatures rise, and reliably wicks moisture away from the body. This makes the StreamWool Crew Neck suitable both as an insulating mid-layer on cold days and as a comfortable top for hikes, outdoor adventures and everyday wear. The highlights at a glance: Reversible long-sleeved top with two different surfaces Textured surface for extra thermal insulation Smooth inside for a comfortable fit against the skin Double WarmWool layer on the shoulders for greater comfort under a backpack Breathable construction with optimised ventilation under the arms Natural temperature and moisture regulation thanks to merino wool Ideal for trekking, hiking, outdoor sports and everyday wear
