Mountain Equipment has cut the zip-off hood out of three parts, which means it sits absolutely perfectly and the wearer is reliably protected against heat loss through the head. The zip of the down jacket is secured by an internal storm flap and the cuffs on the sleeves and the hem can be adjusted. So no heat can escape from these points and no cold can get to the body. Cold-sensitive equipment such as GPS units or phone batteries can remain close to the body in the inside pocket and frozen fingers are thawed quickly in the two handwarmer pockets. The Mountain Equipment Lightline Jacket provides completely reliable protection, even in temperatures below freezing!
